You might be in the right place if…
You're curious about Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating. You're ready to unlearn diet culture and explore evidence-based, weight-inclusive nutrition practices that support your well-being—without focusing on the scale.
You’ve been diagnosed with a medical condition such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease (CKD), PCOS, infertility, or an eating disorder, and you’re seeking compassionate, inclusive, client-centered nutrition care that respects your autonomy and lived experience.
You're looking for a non-diet dietitian who values collaboration. You want a provider who is approachable, trustworthy, and respects your voice in the decision-making process around your health and care.
You’ve been struggling with body image. You’re ready to start caring for your body, but fear and past experiences make that feel overwhelming. You're seeking supportive, HAES®-aligned care without shame or judgment.
You want a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your relationship with food and your body. Whether you're navigating disordered eating, chronic dieting, or just want to feel more at peace around meals, this is a place where your story matters.
You’re a parent or caregiver supporting someone with an eating disorder or disordered eating, and you're seeking education, resources, and compassionate guidance.
You’re a new or emerging dietitian seeking supervision or mentorship in areas such as PCOS, eating disorder care, HAES®-aligned nutrition therapy, or how to practice from a non-diet perspective.
You’re looking for a speaker, workshop, or event that is led by a HAES®-aligned, non-diet dietitian. Whether it's for a school, community group, or professional audience, I offer inclusive presentations tailored to your needs.

Meet Lauren – HAES®-Aligned Registered Dietitian and Founder of Note to Self Nutrition
Hi there, and welcome! I’m Lauren, a non-diet, Health at Every Size® (HAES®) aligned registered dietitian and the founder of Note to Self Nutrition, LLC. I live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and our 5-year-old golden retriever, who you’ll usually find curled up next to me while I’m watching reruns of Law & Order: SVU, Dateline, or some random documentary that catches my curiosity. I’m a homebody at heart, and I’ve learned to embrace that part of myself instead of resisting it.
I began my nutrition career in the clinical healthcare system, working in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. That experience gave me a strong foundation in medical nutrition therapy, helping me understand the body’s complexities and the broader systems that influence our healthcare experiences. I now bring that knowledge into my work with clients seeking compassionate, inclusive nutrition support — especially those managing chronic conditions like diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and hormonal imbalances.
Finding a dietitian who is both HAES® aligned and deeply understands medical nutrition can be challenging — and I’m proud to offer this unique blend of care.
Like many of my clients, I have my own personal history of body image struggles and disordered eating, which has shaped my gentle, non-judgmental approach to care. I understand the grief that can come with a changing body and the pressures of fitting into unrealistic beauty standards. At the same time, I acknowledge that my lived experience is limited, and I hold deep respect for the diverse identities, bodies, and stories my clients bring. I’ve learned more from working with people of all genders, body sizes, and backgrounds than any textbook could ever offer.
At Note to Self Nutrition, my goal is to help you reconnect with your authentic self — the one that existed long before diet culture got in the way. Maybe it’s the kid who joyfully smeared ice cream across their face at the beach or the toddler who ran around freely, belly out and beaming. Those parts of us are still there. Together, we’ll work to uncover them and offer the care they’ve always deserved.
