Medical Nutrition Therapy
Our nutrition counseling sessions are designed to help individuals explore their relationship with food while receiving personalized medical nutrition therapy. Whether you're navigating disordered eating, seeking support for an eating disorder, or simply working toward food freedom, we provide compassionate, evidence-based guidance. Sessions are typically held weekly or bi-weekly and may be eligible for insurance reimbursement. Note to Self Nutrition is currently in network with Aetna and Cigna insurances. For any other insurance we are an out of network provider; we’ll provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Recovery Coaching
Our nutrition coaching services are designed to complement your existing nutrition therapy (whether with Lauren or another dietitian) and therapy services. These sessions support the healing process and deepen your work in areas like body image, movement, and self-care. Some examples of coaching services include:
Body Image Coaching: Explore and improve your relationship with your body in a supportive, non-judgmental space.
Movement Exploration (Available for Colorado residents): Nervous about nourishing your body pre/post-workout? Concerned about fitness class inclusivity? Let’s explore movement together and reflect on how your body feels.
Meal Support: Need a buddy to help navigate dining out, try new foods, or feel supported at meals? We’re here for you.
Grocery Shopping Trips (Available for Colorado residents): Grocery shopping can be overwhelming—let’s simplify the process. Plan your list, stay on budget, and make mindful food choices with guidance.
Cooking Classes: Get hands-on support with recipe ideas, meal prep, and healthy snack options to suit your lifestyle and nutrition goals.
Clothing Shopping (Including Wedding & Bridesmaid Dresses) (Available for Colorado residents): Clothing shopping can be stressful, especially during recovery. Let’s find clothing that feels comfortable and suits your body (and budget!). Fun Fact: Lauren holds a Bachelor’s in Professional Studies in Fashion Merchandising, bringing a unique perspective to your clothing shopping experience.
Please Note: These coaching sessions are not focused on personalized nutrition therapy and will not include specific nutrition recommendations related to any diagnoses. As such, they are not reimbursed by insurance and are available as out-of-pocket services.

Are you a dietitian working toward your CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) certification and in need of supervision hours? Or are you a newer dietitian seeking mentorship, clinical support, and continuing education in areas like:

PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and fertility
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)
Inclusive, weight-neutral care
Supervision sessions are tailored to your learning goals and areas of interest. Pricing is based on what you typically charge a client for the selected duration of time.

At this time we are in network with Aetna and Cigna; however we are an out of network provider with other national plans.
For those out of network, this means all fees are due at time of service. We will then issue a superbill you can submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your specific health insurance plan and it is up to you to reach out to them to learn about your benefits.
