My Approach
Welcome to Note to Self Nutrition – Inclusive Nutrition Care Rooted in Compassion
I created Note to Self Nutrition to fill a void I deeply felt in my own healthcare experience as a young adult. During those years, I often found myself trapped in cycles of shame and guilt — feelings directly tied to the weight-focused medical care I received. I still wonder: What if I had seen a dietitian who prioritized my overall well-being over a number on the scale? How different could those years have been?
These questions fuel my passion for providing high-quality, inclusive nutrition care.
I specialize in supporting individuals with chronic health conditions, disordered eating, and those seeking Health at Every Size® (HAES®) aligned treatment. I understand how difficult it can be to navigate a healthcare system that often overlooks your lived experience. That’s why I work to offer a different kind of care — one grounded in flexibility, body respect, and trust.
At Note to Self Nutrition, your story matters.
I believe that all bodies are worthy of respectful, evidence-informed nutrition care. I don’t believe in "fixing" you — instead, I aim to create a space where you can explore your relationship with food and your body without judgment. Together, we’ll work to rebuild trust, foster self-compassion, and reconnect you with your authentic self.
If you’re looking for a provider who values collaborative care, trauma-informed practices, and weight-inclusive nutrition therapy, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
Providing you with a safe space to land
Compassionate, Inclusive Nutrition Support Rooted in Safety and Trust
I understand how overwhelming it can be to explore your relationship with food and your body. Confronting these challenges can feel vulnerable, especially when past experiences with healthcare have lacked compassion or understanding. That’s why I approach every client with empathy, respect, and a commitment to safety.
As a provider practicing from a trauma-informed, Health at Every Size® (HAES®) aligned, and body-affirming framework, I prioritize your emotional and physical well-being above all else. I work with individuals navigating disordered eating, body image concerns, and chronic health conditions, and I strive to create a space where all identities and bodies feel welcomed.
I’ve done — and continue to do — deep work around the privileges I hold, the biases I carry, and how these may impact my approach to care. Ongoing self-reflection, education, and listening are at the heart of my practice. I grow alongside my clients and remain committed to building a relationship built on trust, collaboration, and non-judgmental support.
If you're seeking inclusive nutrition care that acknowledges your lived experience and centers your voice, you're in the right place.
